A new Tante

My sister, Dana Anne, came for a visit this last weekend to meet her very first niece, Audrey Anne. She flew all the way from sunny San Diego to be with me and my family. I realize more and more how much Dana is becoming such a dear friend to me. I thoroughly enjoy our visits and the ways our relationship is deepening with each year.

We had a great time chillin' with Audrey, redecorating my back "mud porch" for free using leftover supplies and stuff I had laying around, going thrift store shopping for 5 hours and finding some great stuff, and walking around the streets of Waukegan looking at old, wonderful homes (Dana-doo's favorite past time). We even made time to hang out in Kati Ray's fabulous hot tub.
